WealthStack — Gold's in!
Spanish Inquisition hired me to produce a commercial for WealthStack, an Australian commodities trading app. I produced the job and did the edit, the titles and the compositing.

Challenge & solution
Someone from the present walks into the 1800s, finds two prospectors looking for gold, and tells them they can find it on WealthStack. Gavin Pincus shot it, Piet Engelbrecht was creative director, and the rest of the crew were South African filmmakers I was glad to be on set with. Production was a lot of fun.
Post was the hard part. I had to rotoscope the lead off the background and keep the grass from cutting through him where it shouldn’t. Slow work. I’m very happy with the finished film.
The discipline
This one came through commercial production. Brand and retail commercials for agencies and in-house teams.
