Commercial production
Supersonic Limitless
Supersonic, through Spanish Inquisition. The brief was high-quality looping social videos, GIF-like, each showing a different piece of ordinary life. I produced it, co-directed with Piet Engelbrecht, and did all the post. Gavin Pincus shot it.

Challenge & solution
A loop is an unforgiving format. It has to close back onto its own first frame cleanly enough that a viewer can’t find the seam, and it has to stay interesting on the third pass, because that’s when people actually notice what they’re watching. That constraint reaches all the way back into the shoot: you’re planning the return before you’ve shot the departure.
I produced this, co-directed it with Piet Engelbrecht, and did all the post myself. Gavin Pincus shot it. Spanish Inquisition is an agency I’ve worked with across several jobs, and having the post in the same hands as the direction is what makes a loop land — you can fix the join in the edit by having shot for it in the first place.
The discipline
This one came through commercial production. Brand and retail commercials for agencies and in-house teams.
