Printing SA, Sticky
The second of two skits for Printing SA, the South African printing federation, on the theme of a world without printing. This one takes the label off a face cream bottle. I produced. Peter Heaney directed, Bradley Devine shot it, Ryan Norwood Young edited.

Challenge & solution
Printing covers a far larger slice of the business sector than most people think about — labels, packaging, newspapers, all of it — and the campaign’s trick is to make that concrete by removing one label and letting the consequence play. Sticky is the face cream half of the pair.
I produced both films. The craft on this kind of job is in the setup rather than the finish: a joke this simple either works in the first five seconds or it doesn’t, so casting, props and the discipline to keep the skit small are where the value is. Peter Heaney directed, Bradley Devine shot, Ryan Norwood Young edited.
The discipline
This one came through commercial production. Brand and retail commercials for agencies and in-house teams.
