Mansio is on the Palm, and this was one of the first films I cut for Freedm. Not a walkthrough. A commercial with the volume up, made to make the place feel inevitable.

Challenge & solution
Mansio is a different temperature to the other property work. The building sits on the Palm, the music is big, and I was allowed to be a bit greedy with both. I wasn’t trying to explain the development. I was trying to make the first thirty seconds feel like arriving somewhere you’d already decided to buy.
It was really fun to cut. Property films can get polite. This one didn’t have to. The pictures and the track do the talking, and I tried to stay out of the way just enough that the place still feels expensive when the music drops.
The discipline
This one came through commercial production. Brand and retail commercials for agencies and in-house teams.
