Animation & compositing
ACG Season's Greetings
ACG wanted a Christmas mailer that wished their customers well without leaving ACG's world. Magical, Christmassy, and still about capsules, film and machinery.

Challenge & solution
The solution was a Christmas tree inside a capsule, with snow falling. A snow globe, more or less, built out of the thing they make. It’s a simple project. It’s also some of the most fun animation I’ve done.
I like a constraint like that. You can’t put Santa on a forklift and call it branded. You have to find one image that is theirs and make it feel like December. The capsule was that image.
The discipline
This one came through animation & compositing. After Effects compositing, Mocha tracking, clean-up and green screen.
